Rev. Jill Auman
Rev. Jill Auman spent her earliest years in Arlington Virginia, grew up in
South Florida, and graduated from Furman Univ. (1982) and Duke Divinity (1985).
She was ordained an elder in the Western NC conference in 1989. Jill and her
husband, Tim, who is the Chaplain at Wake Forest, married in Duke Chapel in
1984. Jill has served in ministry at Denton Central UMC, Carolina Medical
Center, Sharon UMC, Myers Park UMC, and most recently at Wesley Memorial UMC for
16 years.
Tim and Jill have two sons: Jonathan, age 20, attending University of London and
Micah, age 13, attending Southern Guilford Middle School.
Jill enjoys preaching and teaching the Bible, traveling, visiting, doing
outreach ministry, spending time with her family, strengthening relationships,
and reading.
