In our church, we have an organized unit of United Methodist Women, whose purpose is to know God and experience freedom as whole persons through Jesus Christ; to develop a creative, supportive fellowship; and to expand concepts of mission through participation in the global ministries of the church.

Our unit is divided into three fellowships; morning and evening who meet monthly.  Our young ladies have an E-mail type communication and meet to complete their projects.  They make May baskets for shut-ins, share "Heart Sisters", and sponsor Christmas boxes to save on postage for all church members.  They sponsor bake sales twice a year to help raise money for their unit.  Our evening unit sponsors a Valentine Luncheon for Seniors in our church and community; selling pecans to sponsor this event.  We also have an auction to sponsor our projects.  The morning fellowship created a very attractive and helpful cook book for their fundraiser.

The general meeting has a bazaar yearly on the last Saturday in October to finance our mission program.
